Most fitness apps measure how hard you push. rep five notices that you moved at all.

It starts with your face

One half a photograph, one half an animated character

One selfie, taken once, becomes a character that is recognisably you.

And then it changes with you

Day 1
Today

From Couch Potato to Beast Mode — six stages, and your avatar moves through them only as fast as you do.

A phone with the rep five app open, showing an avatar, today's steps and the ring card

This is the whole thing

Your character, today's steps, your heart rate and the people you move with — one screen, no dashboard to decipher.

It reads what your phone already counts. Nothing to type in, nothing to remember in the evening.

Your selfie is never stored. It is turned into your avatar on your phone and discarded.

Your day is already full

Work, kids, someone who needs you. Your steps count on their own, and 3,000 of them keeps the streak alive.

Whatever your sport is

Football, the gym, swimming, yoga, tennis. Eleven of them, and every one counts by the minute — distance optional.

Chasing a number

GPS, pace, distance, personal bests, and the people who push you.

Move with people, not against them.

A feed of the people you actually know, whether they trained today or walked to the shops. Challenges that hand out something real. And community runs on race days, if that is your kind of thing.

The ring that keeps counting

Steps and heart rate around the clock — and every step the ring counts is worth double toward your avatar.

Where this is going

We are not shipping an app and walking away. This is the order of things.

  1. Now

    The doors open

The app arrives on the App Store. Everyone on the waitlist hears first and meets their avatar before anyone else.

  2. Next

    The first drop

rep five basics — the first collection your avatar can wear. More drops follow, and some of them you will earn rather than buy.

  3. Then

    Runs and challenges

Community runs on real race days, starting at the Cologne Marathon, plus challenges that hand out items you cannot find in the shop.

  4. Later

    Collabs

    Coming

Collections made together with brands worth wearing. The first one is further along than we are letting on.

  5. Later

    The ring

For everyone who wants their whole day to count, not just the part they remember to track.

Questions

What does it cost?

The app is free. Avatar items are optional and never required to progress.

Do I have to run?

No. Eleven sports are tracked and every one of them counts by the minute, not by the kilometre — the gym, yoga and five-a-side included. And if a day leaves you no room for any of it, your steps still count on their own.

What happens to my selfie?

It never leaves your phone and is never stored. Your avatar is generated from it, then it is discarded.

Do I need the ring?

No. Your phone is enough. The ring simply counts more of your day — and earns double.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. We are starting on iOS and want to do it properly before we spread out.

When does it launch?

Soon. The waitlist hears first, and we only write once.

Be there on day one.

We will write once, when it opens.
